Importantly, the exposed rats were found to have higher rates of two types of cancers:\u00a0glioma, a tumor of the glial cells in the brain, and malignant\u00a0schwannoma\u00a0of the heart, a very rare tumor. None of the unexposed control rats developed either type of tumor.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Marcel\u2019s comment: <\/em><\/strong>Although the studies on the connection between cell-phone use and cancer are just starting to emerge, at Pacific Naturopathic, we have observed the connection in several clinical cases.<\/p>\n

In one startling\u00a0case, a young man who commuted hours each day with his cell phone in his lap developed testicular cancer. Dr. Connie and I rarely use our cell-phones, and when we do, we use the speakerphone and keep the instruments away from our heads.
